Chatper 9, Elvis at Legend's August 19th

They must have been hungry for Elvis in Galesburg. After playing out of town and for private parties for the last month or so, we had a show open to the public, and it sold out. We had been cramming for the Pajamas Band, learing a bunch of new songs, that it felt good to be playing the Elvis shows again. The crowd was excited to us, as we were to see them. We started feeding off their energy and getting more and more into the performance. Al was hilarious. He was telling stories and jokes that had the audience hanging on his every word. The man just knows how to keep and entertain a crowd.
